RootRunners partnership
Partner Program
Building a stronger security culture together. The RootRunners Partner Program creates practical collaborations with companies, organizations and communities connected to cybersecurity, technology and innovation.
Who we are
RootRunners is an international cybersecurity team focused on Capture The Flag competitions. We play CTFs, share technical knowledge, publish writeups and help our community improve across key security areas.
- Web Security
- Cryptography
- Binary Exploitation
- Reverse Engineering
- Digital Forensics
- OSINT
- Network Security
RootRunners is an independent, non-profit project. Our activities are dedicated to team growth, education and the spread of cybersecurity culture.
Who can become a partner
The Partner Program is open to companies, organizations, blogs, communities and content creators that share RootRunners' values and vision.
The collaboration is not limited to organizations working directly in cybersecurity. Partners can also come from connected or complementary fields.
- IT and software development;
- hosting, cloud and digital infrastructure;
- hardware and technology;
- education and career guidance;
- recruiting and human resources;
- technology communication and media;
- events, gaming and esports;
- services that support community growth and team activities.
Blogs, online publications, digital communities and content creators can also support RootRunners through articles, interviews, collaborations, promotion of our activities and public discussion around cybersecurity topics.
You do not need to be a cybersecurity company to become a partner. What matters is sharing our principles, supporting digital security culture and proposing a collaboration that fits the identity of the team.
- promoting cybersecurity awareness;
- supporting young talent;
- encouraging knowledge sharing;
- contributing to the CTF community;
- promoting ethical and responsible use of technology.
Every proposal is reviewed by the team to make sure the potential partner, its content and its activities are compatible with RootRunners' values.
A non-monetary partnership
A partnership with RootRunners does not require payments, membership fees or the purchase of advertising packages.
RootRunners does not sell products or services through the Partner Program. The collaboration is based on shared values, mutual support and the promotion of cybersecurity-related initiatives.
Companies can contribute with expertise, tools, infrastructure, technical services or organizational support, depending on the needs and activities agreed by both sides.
How the collaboration works
The partnership must be recognized by both sides. The company presents RootRunners as an official partner in the initiatives created together, and RootRunners recognizes and promotes the company as a sponsor or partner of the team.
The collaboration model is defined clearly before the partnership starts, so communication remains accurate, transparent and useful for both organizations.
Visibility for partner companies
Once approved, the company is added to the Sponsor section of the official RootRunners website. The partner may also be introduced through our official social channels, Discord community, LinkedIn, competition communications, events, projects and team initiatives.
RootRunners does not directly sell the company's services and does not act as a commercial intermediary. We introduce partners to our community and recommend organizations that we consider reliable, aligned with our values and relevant to the field.
Representation during competitions
When we participate in a competition, we may choose one of our partners as the representative sponsor for the team.
The selected partner can be highlighted in competition-related communications, content published through our channels and activities agreed with RootRunners.
Support for RootRunners events
For CTFs, workshops or other events organized directly by RootRunners, partner companies can provide technical or organizational support.
- infrastructure and hosting;
- competition platforms;
- challenge development or review;
- technical support;
- prizes for participants;
- educational sessions;
- event promotion.
Companies that contribute to an initiative are recognized as official event sponsors and presented through the related materials and communication channels.
A benefit for both sides
Collaborating with RootRunners means actively supporting the spread of cybersecurity culture through competitions, technical content, educational activities and public initiatives.
- strengthen your presence in the sector;
- connect with cybersecurity talent and enthusiasts;
- support an independent international project;
- associate your name with technical and educational initiatives;
- contribute to the growth of the CTF community.
For RootRunners, partnerships help improve team activities, take on new competitions and organize more complete and accessible initiatives.
